Service Design project for More Music Group
This master project is a result of cooperation with More Music Group. I was tasked with developing a new concept and features for their platform to decrease the user drop-off rate.
To develop new ideas, I researched topics such as user engagement, online communities, and current global trends. Moreover, I have done qualitative research on the target group (interviews, observations).
The result is a creation of a new community platform. Examples of features include the community tab, events, private and group chats, safe spaces, and more. Click the button below to learn more about this project.
DISCOVER THE MOON! INTERACTIVE HOLOGRAM
Completed as my bachelor project, this interactive holographic display installation was built to research and test the idea of air gestural controls on holographic displays in a museum setting. Through Kinect air gestures, visitors could freely explore the Moon’s surface and learn about interest points on it. Powered by DeepFrame by the danish company RealFiction, with whom we closely cooperated for two semesters.
DeepSpace - developing a holographic visitor experience for the DTM
Designed and made for the Danish Museum of Science and Technology (DTM), this audio-visual holographic experience takes users on a journey on board the Soyuz spacecraft to the ISS. Displayed on the holographic display called DeepFrame by the Danish company RealFiction. The project employed topics such as Design Thinking, Human-Computer Interaction, and Human Interface Design. The installation was a part of the Space Exhibition at DTM and was noted in the press.
UX & Design work @BOTXO
During my time at BotXO (now Certainly.io), one of the main tasks was to redesign the "about page" for its website - both desktop and mobile. This was a multi-step process in which I had to plan the team profiles system or job carriers block with currently available job offers. In the process, I had to follow the visual identity guidelines.
Moreover, I was given other smaller tasks such as designing company t-shirts and editing pictures for SoMe posts.
FLUX - MULTI EFFECT PEDAL FOR GUITARISTS
Through ethnographic research, electric guitarists were interviewed and observed. A strong need for better controls in multi-effect digital pedals was discovered in that group. This lead to the construction - from scratch - a new digital multi-effect pedal. Data triangulation was involved in conducting the evaluation process. The results show potential in developing new, fully foot-controlled interfaces.
MUSAR - AR APP FOR THE DANISH MUSIC MUSEUm
Working for the National Museum of Denmark, an AR app call MusAR was developed. It allows visitors to play 2 instruments with their mobile devices, otherwise inaccessible and hidden in display cases. User Experience was evaluated in this case, and triangulation of data collection methods was used. This enhanced AR experience was hugely enjoyed by the museum visitors and is still used in the museum.
SLEEPSPOT - A GPS-BASED ALARM APP
When discovered sleep deprivation problems among the Danish population, an idea of a GPS-based alarm app for Android emerged. The app was developed following Material Design language guidelines. It was tested on students who declared sleep problems by evaluating Usability factors of the product. Interviews, focus groups and surveys were involved in discovering if the app can change and ease people’s lives.
